On Veterans Day, take a moment to thank a veteran for their service for our country. I have 2 veterans in mine, I (Chris Simons) will take the time to thank my grandfather Cleland Allen. Cleland proclaimed all his life he was a typist and mail carrier. This was not true, he was head of special reconnaissance at strategic command. He never told his family about his service because he thought it was still classified. It was not. He was a hero who for 50 years never mentioned the great position he held. Heroes live amongst us, thank them today.
